RENTAL PERIOD: Minimum rental period is 1 day (24h) with acceptable length delay of 1 hour. Any further delay is charged as an extra day.
DRIVER’S AGE AND DRIVING LICENSE: Minimum age 23 years and maximum 70 years for all car groups. Driving license must be issued at least 1 year before rental start. Driver also re-
ferred as the renter, must hold a valid European (for EU countries) or International (for countries that don’t belong to EU) driving license. The driver agrees that Blue & Green cars oe also referred as the company have the right to verify that your license has been validly issued and is in good standing (not suspended, revoked or otherwise restricted in any way) as a condition
precedent to each rental and that the company may refuse to rent the driver if his or hers license is not in good standing. The company reserves the right to deny rentals.
PAYMENT METHOD: For all groups a valid Credit Card accepted by blue & green cars oe, must be shown for the pre-authorization of the renters liability as well as the settlement of final
rental charges (for non prepaid reservations).
DEPOSIT FOR GUARANTEE: For or rentals, upon pick up of the vehicle, Blue and Green cars oe will preauthorise an amount from the driver’s credit card as a deposit for guarantee which
will be fully refunded at the end of the rental, provided no other charges arise. Please note that the refund can take up to 14 days, depending on the issuing bank of the credit card. The
amount of the deposit varies according to the car group. Specifically: Group: A, B, C, J, V2: €450 / Group: D, F, H, K, L, P, W, M V3, V4: €700 / Group: E, EM, EE, N, NM, R, T, U, Y: €950 /
Group: V, G, YL, 1, 5, 8, 9: €1,950 / Group: YP, 3, 9L: €3,000.
TRAFFIC FINES: All fines resulting from the drivers conduct are born solely by the renter. Administrative expenses will be charged (€ 40) if fines are not paid by the renter.
Removal of license plates: In case of removal of license plates, the renter will be charged for the rental until the return of the license plates from the competent service.
INSURANCE: All authorized drivers of Blue & green cars oe vehicles are covered against damages from Fire to the rented vehicle, and Liability Insurance to Third Party death, injury, and
property. Both coverages are subject to General Terms of the Blue & green cars oe insurance contract with its Insurer.
CAR MODEL BOOKING: Bookings are subject to a specific car group, which usually includes several different car models with similar features. Please note that the renetr must be pre-
pared to collect any of the advertised vehicles within the group. In the case that the renter has a confirmed reservation for a specific car group and there is not any available car from this category, the company reserves the right to deliver a vehicle of a bigger group with no extra charge. Collision Damage Waiver is included into car rental rate.
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW): The renters liability for damage to the rented vehicle, can be reduced, under the condition that the Greek Traffic Law is not violated, to a minimum
charge of €750 for groups A, B, C, J, V2, €1200 for groups D, F, H, K, L, M, P, R, T, W, €1,500 for groups E, EM, EE, N, NM U, V, Y, YL, 1, 5, 8, V3, V4, €1,900 for group 9 and €3,000 for groups 3,
9L & YP, CDW insurance does not cover damages on the bottom part of car, roof, the wheels, tires, hubcaps, antenna, the mirrors and the interior. Cost per day (FREE).
FULL DAMAGE WAIVER (FDW): This insurance is optional with extra cost per day. Limits the limited liability amount for car damage down to 0,00€. FDW insurance does not cover dam-
ages on the bottom part of car, roof, the wheels, tires, hubcaps, antenna, the mirrors and the interior. Cost per day (See front of the voucher). Upon pick up of the vehicle, the company will preauthorise the amount of 300€ from the drivers credit card as a deposit for guarantee which will be fully refunded at the end of the rental, provided no other charges arise. Please note that the refund can take up to 14 days, depending on the issuing bank of the credit card. The amount of the deposit varies according to the
car group.
THEFT PROTECTION (TW): Theft waiver is optional which, if accepted, reduces the renter’s financial responsibility in case of total theft of the Blue & green cars oe vehicle to €650 for
groups A, B, C, J, V2, € 800 for groups D, F, H, K, L, M, Q, P, R, T, W, €1,000 for groups E, EM, EE, I, N, NM, U, V, Y, YL, 1, 5, 8, V3, V4, €1,300 for group 9 and €3,000 for groups 3, 9L & YP by
accepting a charge of € 6, € 9, € 12, € 18 and € 40 respectively per rental day. This excludes any thefts of personal effects. Please note that if a vehicle is stolen and keys are not returned
to the rental location, the renter will be deemed negligent and insurance is deemed void.
PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (PAI): This insurance is free and covers the driver up to the sum up to 15.000€ for hospital expenses, personal injuries, partial disability and death
due to the accident. Insurance coverage is NOT valid and in particular, but not limited to, in the following circumstances: When transporting the vehicle by ferry (Vehicle is prohibited to go outside the
island of Crete.
If the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. For damages caused by driving on unpaved roads (e.g. Balos). For damage on the bottom part, wheels, hubcaps, tires, mirrors, an-
tenna, glass and interior. For loss of personal belongings. For accidents caused by a driver not declared in the lease contract. For loss or damage of the vehicle key. For loss or destruction
of Navi GPS device, child seats, or other additional equipment. Please note your liability for damage to or loss of the vehicle will not be reduced where you or an authorized driver are
grossly negligent (for example failure to assess the vehicle’s height, driving on unsuitable road conditions, improper use of the vehicle, contribution to damage to / theft of the vehicle).
For Striking overhead or overhanging objects; For Driving into a barrier that is too low for the vehicle to pass beneath; For Driving into a barrier in a car park before it fully opens; For Driving
on a road in bad condition without due care resulting in damage to the undercarriage; For Driving on a beach causing damage by salt water and/or sand; For Driving through flooded roads
causing damage to the engine; For Putting wrong fuel in the vehicle or otherwise contaminating the fuel; When Damage occurred as a result of ignoring a warning light; Burning a clutch
(which requires persistent ill use) or using the handbrake incorrectly. Damage to the wheel rim caused by driving with a flat tire. Fitting unauthorized objects to the interior or exterior of
the vehicle. Carrying especially dirty or smelly materials that require extra cleaning costs or that damage or burn the interior. Damage resulting from locking the keys in the vehicle or
losing the keys. Damage resulting from leaving the windows open.
The cost of damage of the car is paid even if the renter is insured by a credit card or other insurance company. In this case, the renter is obliged to pay the entire vehicle repair or replace-
ment costs and then ask for a refund from the credit card or another insurance provider.
IN CASE OF ACCIDENT THE RENTER IS OBLIGED REGARDLESS OF FAULT, TO COMPLETE AN ACCIDENT FORM, ACCORDING TO ARTICLE K70 OF THE GREEK LAW.
USE OF GPS TRACKING DEVICES: The company uses GPS tracking devices to track or locate cars which may be late for their scheduled return, reported stolen, suspected of being lost,
stolen, or abandoned or as may be required or requested by law enforcement, or to identify cars which have been damaged and may require roadside assistance, when the company has
in good faith belief that there is an emergency that poses a threat to the renters safety or the safety of another person, or as necessary to defend, protect or enforce the company’s rights
in connection with the use of our products and services. All personal data of the renter strictly will not be given to third parties (police and other law authorities excluded). All data of the
vehicles journey will be deleted after the vehicle is returned to the company. The renter accepts the use of this device by signing this contract.
INSURANCE POLICY AND LIABILITY AMOUNTS: Third party insurance covers: a. Death and injury of third party up to 1.220.000€, b. Material damages to third parties up to 1.220.000€.
– excluding the car of the company.
INCIDENT ADMINISTRATION FEE (IAF): In case of an accident or car damage due to the renters liability, renter has the obligation to pay to Blue & green cars oe a non refundable fee of
€100 to cover administration expenses.
ADDITIONAL DRIVER/S: A charge of €3.00 per day has to be paid for each additional Driver.

CAR REPLACEMENT: In case of the unfortunate event of an accident/breakdown resulting in the immobilization of the vehicle the renters car will be replaced with another one within
24 hours from the time of the incident has been reported. Our company has the right investigate the cause of the accident/ breakdown and deny the replacement of the car if the use of
the car was against terms and conditions.
LIMITATIONS: All vehicles are not allowed to be used for: Driving off-road, carrying heavy objects, carrying pets* or bad use in general. Vehicles returned in bad condition and with ex-
tremely dirty interior (e.g food stains, coffee, etc.) will be charged for special cleaning with cost up to 90€.
*Pets are allowed only on request by email or phone before the reservation.
FERRY RESTRICTIONS: Allowed only with prior written agreement with Blue & green cars oe. Please note that any damage to the vehicle in transit will be not covered by any insurance.
FUEL POLICY: Fuel is measured in 8ths. All cars they should be returned with the same quantity of fuel in the tank as on delivery. If the car is returned with less fuel, there is a charge of
12€ for refuel service plus the cost of the missing fuel. Fuel left in the tank is not refundable. Cost per 8th 10€.
SMOKING POLICY: Blue and green cars oe operate a no smoking policy for all vehicles according to the Greek law. If the renter has smoked or allowed smoking within the vehicle, charges
will apply for the biological cleaning of the vehicle. This includes allowing cigarette (or cigar) smoke or ash into the vehicle, which would imply the above.
BABY SEATS: Available on request with a daily charge, cost (see in front of the voucher).
GPS: Available on request with a daily charge cost (see in front of the voucher).
LOST KEYS: Renter will be charged if keys are lost or damaged. Lost keys are deemed as negligence and are not covered under the insurance excess. Drivers will be liable for all costs
relating to recovery, loss of use, replacement car and repair. Cost 200€ . Please note that if a vehicle is stolen and keys are not returned to the rental location, the renter will be deemed
negligent and insurance is deemed void.
LATE RETURN: If the vehicle is returned later than the time indicated on the voucher, it is charged with an additional day.
BOOKING CANCELLATION:
Α. Partially prepaid reservation
– Cancel more than72 hours prior to pick up time: If the renter chooses to cancel a partially prepaid reservation 72 hours prior to the rental pick up time, the company will refund the
deposit paid for the booking amount. Once canceled, the company will credit you within approximately 5 business days. Credits will be applied to the same card with which you prepaid.
– Cancel within 72 hours prior to pick up time: If the renter cancels less than 72 hours before pick-up time the deposit will not be refunded.
– No show: If the renter does not cancel the reservation prior to the time of pick-up and the rental vehicle is not picked up on the rental date, the deposit will not be refunded.
Β. Fully prepaid reservation
– Cancel more than 72 hours prior to pick up time: If the renter chooses to cancel a fully prepaid reservation 72 hours prior to the rental pick up time, the company will fully refund the
prepaid amount. Once canceled, the company will credit the renter within approximately 5 business days. Credits will be applied to the same card with which the renter prepaid.
– Cancel within 72 hours prior to pick up time: If the renter cancels less than 72 hours before pick-up time 50% of the prepaid amount will be refunded.
– No show: If the renter does not cancel the reservation prior to the time of pick-up and the rental vehicle is not picked up on the rental date, no portion of the prepaid amount will be
refunded.
EARLY RETURN: Please note that the company is unable to do any refund if the renter decides to return the car earlier.
TAXES: All prices and charges stated in the terms and conditions of the contract are charged with the applicable VAT.
RENTAL AGREEMENT: During receipt of the vehicle a rental agreement is signed and contains the above terms and conditions and renter agrees with all the above.
